    Picasso short story

Most people thought Pablo Picasso was the most important and powerful artist of the first half of the 20th century. He is best known for his work with Georges Braque on Cubism, but he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism. He thought of himself mostly as a painter, but his sculpture was significant, and he also tried things like printmaking and ceramics. Finally, he was a well-known person who was charismatic. His many relationships with women not only influenced his art but also may have led to its direction, and his behavior has come to be seen as that of a Bohemian modern artist in the popular imagination.

    Achievements of Pablo Picasso

From Paul Cézanne and Henri Rousseau to primitive art and tribal art, numerous things inspired Picasso to give his figures more structure. This led him to Cubism, where he broke down the rules of perspective that had been used in painting since the Renaissance. These new ideas would have a big impact on almost all of modern art, changing how people think about how to show form in space.

Picasso's study of Cubism also led him to the creation of collage, which meant that he no longer considered a picture to be a window into the world. Instead, he considered it to be a collection of signs that used different, sometimes metaphorical, ways to refer to the world's objects. This, too, would be essential for many years to come.

Picasso had countless different ideas about style. Even though at any given time, his work was usually characterized by a single dominant approach, he often switched between different styles - sometimes even in the same piece of art.

When he met Surrealism, even though it didn't change his work completely, it led to the soft shapes and tender eroticism in portraits of his mistress Marie-Therese Walter, as well as the starkly angular imagery of Guernica (1937), the century's most famous war painting.

If you look at some of Picasso's best work, like Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907), you can see how he used many old ideas to make them new at the same time. As he got older, he became even more concerned about making sure his work would live on. In his later work, he talks openly about the Old Masters like Ingres, Velázquez, Goya, and Rembrandt.
